As of Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM the Neville Township Board of Commissioners has NOT rescheduled Trick or Treat.
The Commissioners have reviewed available weather forecasts for Thursday through Saturday. They have also reviewed the decisions of other local municipalities, including those who have not rescheduled Trick or Treat and those who have moved their events to various other dates and times on Friday and Saturday.
The Board understands the weather for Thursday evening may be inclement and urges parents to consider safety precautions and recommendations including flashlights, glow sticks, safe costumes and rainwear. Weather for Trick or Treat in October is often unpredictable and parents should always consider rain, snow and temperatures at the time of Trick or Treat.
The Commissioners will continue to monitor the National Weather Service and local forecasts for new weather advisories, watch or warnings.
FURTHER CHANGES WILL BE POSTED TO THE TOWNSHIP’S WEBSITE.
Residents who wish to participate in Trick-or-Treat are asked to leave their porch lights on.
